Our driver and professional guide will pick you up at your hotel in your own private bus and transport you to Bayahibe: the jump off point for Saona Island.
Your private yacht will be waiting with capacity for 25 passengers. The yacht boasts 4 bathrooms, two beds, a fully equipped kitchen, salon and jacuzzi. Once aboard, a refreshing breakfast of sandwiches, croissants, fruit, coffee and juice is served.
Now, get comfortable for a full day of luxury and relaxation on the Caribbean Sea! We’ll cruise along the Bayahibe coastline and make our way to a natural swimming pool. Here, you can wade in transparent, waist deep water, pick up star fish, snorkel or enjoy our bar service in the ocean with drinks and tuna, chicken or lobster sandwiches.
After the natural swimming pool we head for our ultimate destination – Isla Saona, a 42 square kilometer Caribbean oasis off the southern coast of the Dominican Republic. Originally named “Adamanay” by the Taino Indians, the island was renamed by Christopher Columbus, during his second voyage to the Americas in 1494. The name, “Saona”, commemorated his friend Michele da Cuneo, from Savona, Italy.
At Isla Saona, you’ll have many choices: wade in the turquoise waters, visit the open bar, take a nap on a beach hammock, play volleyball, walk the beach or indulge in a premium lunch of lobster, shrimp, seafood cocktail, chicken, pork, vegetables, salad, coffee and cake. Most likely, you’ll do it all!
From Saona Island, we’ll cruise back to the mainland with another stop at the natural swimming pool. Enjoy your open bar, music, hors d’oeuvres and the amazing natural setting of the Dominican Republic’s shoreline and the Caribbean Sea.
